NEXT WEATHER THREAT: FREEZING RAIN

Some moisture will be moving through on Sunday, however, while the upper levels of the atmosphere will be above freezing, surface temperatures will be near and below freezing.

So, FREEZING RAIN is expected between the late afternoon & evening.

Our next weather maker will be a warm front that pushes through Sunday afternoon and evening.

Temperatures may be hovering around freezing in Northwestern NJ, and this could lead to a period of freezing rain. Guidance is in fairly good agreement with a swath of light icing.
