Here is a slideshow of photos taken from the severe thunderstorms that moved through New Jersey on August 5, 2012. The photos taken were of a storm as it moved through the Raritan Center section of Edison. Newark Airport reported wind gusts of up to 60 miles per hour while other areas such as Union, North Plainfield, and Keyport had downed trees and power lines. South Plainfield received about a third of an inch of rain from the storm.
