Here is storm footage of severe thunderstorms lashing New Jersey on August 5, 2012. This storm brought high winds and vivid lightning to parts of the Garden State. Newark Airport measured a wind gust of 60 miles per hour while power lines and tree limbs were downed across many parts of the Garden State including North Plainfield, Woodbridge, and Keyport. South Plainfield received a third of an inch from one of the storms.
