Here is a time lapse video of weather conditions at Greg’s Weather Center in South Plainfield on July 7, 2013. On this day, there was plenty of sunny skies along with some heat and humidity. During the course of the afternoon and evening, severe thunderstorms developed across Central and Northern New Jersey with places like Basking Ridge and Livingston getting hit hard by severe thunderstorms with gusty winds and vivid lightning.
