Here is a time lapse video of weather conditions at Greg’s Weather Center in South Plainfield on July 1, 2013. On this day, severe thunderstorms developed in the morning producing heavy rains. Further to the west in Northern Somerset County, severe storms downed trees and power lines in places such as Bridgewater.
