Here is a slideshow from photos taken of an approaching thunderstorm in Central Jersey on August 17, 2012. A slow moving cold front pushed into a muggy air mass over the Garden State on this day producing late day and evening storms. None were really severe although, it brought about 0.6 inches of rain to South Plainfield.
