Here is footage from GWC Web Cam II of the deluge that struck South Plainfield around lunchtime on August 10, 2012. This storm dumped about an inch and a half of rain over a span of two and a half hours. Rainfall rates at times during the downpour were between 4.2 and 5.33 inches per hour. It was the heaviest rainfall so far this year in Northwestern New Jersey.
