Here is a slideshow created from photos taken of an afternoon thunderstorm just outside of town on August 9, 2012. This thunderstorm was part of a cluster of thunderstorms that moved through Central Jersey and brought 60 mile per hour winds to Trenton, downed trees and up to four inches of rain in West Jersey, and up to 2 inches of rain to Perth Amboy and South Amboy. South Plainfield only received a trace of rain.
