With the approaching storm, the National Weather Service Office in Mount Holly, New Jersey has issued a Coastal Flood Advisory for coastal areas of Cape May and Atlantic Counties from 10:00 AM Wednesday morning to 4:00 PM on Wednesday afternoon. The tight pressure gradient (difference in pressure) between high pressure to the north, and the coastal low will create an increasing onshore flow over the next 24 hours. Consequently, tidal flooding could occur during high tide in the middle of the day on Wednesday.
