Here is footage of the clouds and rain associated with the remnants of Hurricane Isaac as they passed through Central Jersey during the first week of September 2012. The storm brought some dramatic and ominous looking skies, but not much in the way of rainfall for the region. Only 0.47 inches fell in South Plainfield over a span of four days. Areas further to the south in Ocean County received anywhere from 8 to 12 inches of rain while locations in Warren County and Camden County dealt with tornadoes.
