Here is video footage of the threatening skies over South Amboy’s Waterfront Park that preceded thunderstorms with heavy downpours. It was the second significant rainfall over the last month. This particular storm cell had a history of producing dangerous weather, and forced the NWS office in Mount Holly to issue a Tornado Warning for Morris and Somerset counties. At GWC in South Plainfield, there was 0.82 inches of rainfall.
