Here is footage from the recent winter storm that brought a mixed bag of precipitation to Northern Middlesex County as well as the rest of the Garden State on the first Monday in February 2015. The storm began as snow on Sunday night, but during the early morning hours, temperatures rose, and the snow changed to freezing rain, and then all rain. By Monday afternoon though, temperatures dramatically dropped causing the slush and ponding on the roads to freeze. On top of that, the storm finished with a flourish as snow fell again with rates as high as 4 inches per hour reported.
