Here is a time lapse video of weather conditions near the Raritan Center section of Edison, NJ on July 27, 2014. On this date, cumulus clouds began to develop thanks to the heat and humidity ahead of a cold front and upper level low that produced severe weather from the Ohio Valley to the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast. Thunderstorms produced another 0.83 inches at GWC in South Plainfield for a total of 7.26 inches of rain for the month of July in town.
