Good evening everyone. If you recall, I had posted a video on the C-SPAN section of YouTube, and e-mailed the five major presidential candidates regarding the growing hurricane problem here in the United States.

However, as of right now (11:18 PM EDT on April 21st), I’ve yet to hear from any of them. It has been nearly a week since I sent my e-mail in regard to this issue. The letter was sent, and the article was posted on April 16th. In light of how important this issue is, and considering that the 2008 Atlantic Hurricane Season is almost a month away, I’m a bit concerned about the lack of response to this point. Nevertheless, I understand that there is a lot going on in terms of the political season right now with the very important Democratic primary in Pennsylvania taking place in just a few short hours from now.

I’m hopeful that I will begin hearing from some of them soon. I will continue to keep you posted on the situation as I get responses from the candidates.
