GWC Storm Footage–July 7, 2012–Severe Thunderstorm Stays To The South
Here is video footage from a severe thunderstorm that just stayed to the south of the GWC WX Station on the first full weekend of July 2012. This storm was part of a line of severe storms that first developed in Western New York, and blossomed over Central Pennsylvania before crashing into southern portions of Hunterdon, Somerset, and Middlesex counties as well as all of Mercer, Monmouth, and Ocean counties. The storms produced wind gusts of 75 miles per hour in Toms River and 78 miles per hour in Brick.
