Here is a time lapse video of weather conditions in South Plainfield, New Jersey on August 19, 2011. This video captures a torrential downpour from a severe thunderstorm that moved through the area. It dumped 1.55 inches in a half an hour, and ended up tallying 1.70 total rainfall. It was just a small sampling of rainfall that fell in August 2011 in Northwestern Middlesex County.
