Here is a time lapse video of weather conditions near sunset in South Plainfield. It was mostly overcast on this mid-April day in South Plainfield. Clouds dominated the day with very little in the way of sun. The lack of sunlight also made temperatures cooler and a bit below normal for this time of year.

Here is storm footage from the effects of Winter Storm Saturn over a period of three days during the first week of March 2013. The storm was the second most potent storm, and longest lasting of the Winter of 2012-13 here in the Garden State. The storm was called Saturn by the Weather Channel, and it brought a combination of wind and snow that affected a large swath of the Eastern United States.
Here is storm footage from the impact of the Blizzard of 2013 here in New Jersey. The storm brought historic snowfall amounts to New England, Long Island, and Connecticut, but only brought a modest 8 inches of snow to Northwestern Middlesex County. However, it was the highest snowfall of the year for the region.
Here is some storm footage of a late afternoon snow squall in Northwestern Middlesex County to start the month of February. I happened to capture this footage just as I was heading out to a basketball game. There was probably just a coating to an inch of snow that fell from this squall.
Here is footage from the severe weather that moved through the Garden State on Wednesday night. This was the first instance of severe weather this season. The most notable of the effects was the vivid lightning, which not only went from cloud to cloud, but also from cloud to ground. There were two waves of storms with the first coming around sunset while the second occurred later in the evening.
Here is a brief video of what was probably winter’s last gasp here in Middlesex County, New Jersey. On the day after Palm Sunday, there was a storm that brought some wet snow in the morning. The snowfall didn’t accumulate since temperatures on the ground were too warm for the white stuff to stick. The storm system did bring fairly squally conditions to the area though.

There were two lines of severe storms generated by a storm system that pushed through an area that had seen two days of the warmest weather so far in 2013. The storms produced dangerous cloud to cloud and cloud to ground lightning.
